I have to say that these past few weeks have been the absolute most dark, hopeless that I've ever seen/felt in the 21 years that I've been a Hurricanes fan. I literally have no hope for the entire 2015 calendar year. I don't even recall feeling this hopeless at the end of the Coker or Shannon eras.

We have a head coach who is so clueless that his only solution is to bury his head in the sand and pretend that nothing is wrong, recruits are dropping like wildfire (if anybody has read the comments from Sam Bruce, all he needs is a scholarship offer from UF and he's gone), and the administrators either don't care or don't have the guts to do anything about this.

It's as if what coach Schnellenberger started in 1979 means absolutely nothing.

I certainly appreciate the info that Geo and others have posted over the past day but I guess I'm just naively holding on to the thought that no organization can be dumb enough to actually think Al Golden deserves to continue to be the head coach of my beloved Hurricanes.

That is the problem with these idiots. They bring in Coker then Shannon and then Golden. Who is drawing laughs from the rest of the college football world? These jackasses are the joke of the college football world. How can you **** up Miami football? A team the dominated college football for decades. Maybe you should kick the member in the loins where you came from. Butch Davis brought UM back after sanctions to the best football team ever and when Butch left, look what happened. If, if this is true...then tell your dad to fire himself because this loser mentality is the problem. Get the **** off the BOT and bring in people who care about the school, not some ******* loser looking to network.

It's also poor business and short sighted. We won't draw 10k if fat Al is the coach next year. The damage is teetering on the edge of irepairable and long term will cost us a lot more.
