Why would the university need to release a statement? Can't do that every weekend a,rumor claims he is leaving

Actually, you can.

When you drop that sort of stuff on the most popular UM web-site, you are going to set off a bunch of waves.

It is kind of irresponsible.

Perhaps this sort of stuff should be vetted by the folks who run this board before it is posted.
 
Ok, Canesport is starting to Buzz now. A poster named Street agent has posted that something is going to happen. He has alot of cred with people over there and people who were sh*itting on the rumors now seem to be getting on board. At least there is hope, RIght?
 
Stare down...admin wants him gone but doesn't want to pay the buyout, Golden wants to go but wants full buyout. Admin makes it clear he's they are not going to fire him so he approaches them to get out of contract...while Golden continues to suck and **** off admin by not letting any coaches go, in an attempt to force their hand and fire him.....

Personally, I think the admin underestimated the negativity and vitriol out in the community and will end up giving in. I just don't see a scenario where he's coaching this team in 9 months. Everyone knows he doesn't want to be here.

I think you're underestimating how much the admin seriously doesn't give a **** about any of us or our opinions, regardless of ticket sale, alumni status, or how much we donate.

Football is not a priority. Al's kids aren't getting in trouble, so he's fine.
