Just make the change now or kill the program, which is what keeping Golden with or without staff changes essentially does. Enough is enough.

The on-field product is an embarrassment and the next two recruiting classes will be worse than Randy's last year, setting us back to a point where we'll never recover. F***ing c'mon already.
 
There would be more smoke going on if this were happening. IMO. I don't know how high up Geo's source goes, but if something were going down, I would assume it would have leaked by now. I hope he's right but just cause a source is correct about one thing doesn't mean he will be right about something else.

Regardless, appreciate Geo keeping us in the loop.

UM thought the fan discontent was isolated to the quacks who still spout all the old UM cliches. "Win with us or get beat by us!" Now UM is screwed because they won't pay the buyout to fire Golden and Golden won't fire any assistants to get some of the fans off of UM's back for a year either. So UM is sitting there scratching its head trying to figure out how to pretend to the fans that they too are mad about the terrible coaches, without actually firing any of the terrible coaches.

Basically, UM wants to pretend like they're all about winning, but Golden won't provide them with any propaganda to bring to the fans to further that lie.

This all sounds plausible to me. I really don't think they want to fire Golden before the 2015 season so they are looking for a way to appease a disgruntled fanbase and underestimated Golden's loyalty to his buddy. But as you said, we're all just guessing at this point.

Can we organize a civil protest?? march a loop around the school, stopping in front of hecht? If we can get 70k to show up to watch the FSU miami game, I am sure we can get a few k to loop around the school. ****, most of the students have to be just as ****ed. Call 560 and have them get on board to promote it!

I mean, it worked in the middle east?!
