6-7 no changes and we get to watch this recruiting class implode much like Als team has.....oh-well guess the boycott of tickets and merchandise will continue. Can't let up! Keep the emails and pizzas going

I don't believe it. Too much smoke the last 24 hours. Something is happening. No idea the outcome. But no changes won't cut it and Blake knows that

Al is already toast, and he knows it. That's why he needs the buyout. He'll never work again in corching. It's the Used Car lot for him, or ESPN (same thing).

never. He is a troll that purposely messes with our heads.. it was funny and all until he started posting erroneous things about golden being canned- and his troll friends continued to push the troll job. In my eyes, anyone claiming to be a true cane fan knows - firing of al golden is a subject not to mess around- making these fools straight up slurpers. Put her ignore.

Gonna say the same thing. Manny knows usually what is going on... that being said I am still holding out hope that good forces will prevail and save our ******* program.
 
Well at least it ended before going through the whole weekend. Don't worry there will be another rumor by days end I am sure

Not true from the one BOT member I know. It's hard to unanimously attribute a group of one hundred people to all having the same opinion

Y'all need to put a self moratorium on the DBC stuff and the WhoopingCane PM stuff. It's played out.



Let it go now so it can become "retro" when we start using it again when we start calling for Butch to be fired in 2019.
 
coaches should not be allowed to go on vacation for doing jack **** all year.

If we're just spitballing about what's happening behind the scenes this is what I've got:

UM thought the fan discontent was isolated to the quacks who still spout all the old UM cliches. "Win with us or get beat by us!" "Any team any place any time!" etc. Those people they don't care about because those people aren't going anywhere. I believe Vinn when he said UM was shocked at how much anger there was outside of just those people. UM (as usual) not really caring about winning or losing didn't want to fire Golden because of the financial hit. But as Golden kept losing and the more fans started to let them know how ****ed off they were, Blake James and co. figured they could throw a few assistants to the wolves to pretend like they were really interested in winning, and they could keep Golden.

James being the spineless impotent coward he is just assumed Golden would be on board with firing some assistants so he could save his own skin for another year and pretend along with the athletic department that winning was important to him. Because that's what James would do to save his cushy job.

Golden figures, "I'm not going to fire my BFF's for a job I'm probably going to get fired from in a year anyway, so I'll just stick to my guns because I know they don't want to spend the money to fire me. And if they do, I get a huge buyout and really stick it to them for firing me in the process."

Now UM is screwed because they won't pay the buyout to fire Golden and Golden won't fire any assistants to get some of the fans off of UM's back for a year either. So UM is sitting there scratching its head trying to figure out how to pretend to the fans that they too are mad about the terrible coaches, without actually firing any of the terrible coaches.

Basically, UM wants to pretend like they're all about winning, but Golden won't provide them with any propaganda to bring to the fans to further that lie.
