Why not try. Raise the money. Start the campaign. Announce it.

because you can't start a fundraising campaign on a remote possibility that the city will sell the land. what happens when you raise all of this money and then the city tells us to **** off? you have to return it all. you don't start a fundraising campaign of that magnitude unless there is a realistic possibility of it actually happening.

i can't tell if you're a troll or actually this stupid. i'll explain it this way: if you want to build a stadium, there has to be approval from the city before anything else. you can raise a billion dollars if you want, but if you can't get the green light to build, you can't build. even if you own the land, you need approval from the municipality.

roll it back into the program? do you not know how fundraising for projects works? if someone donates for specifically for a stadium, you can't keep their money if it doesn't get built. you have to make sure they want it to go to something that isn't a stadium, or you have to give it back. that's like telling all of your friends that you're buying steaks, taking their money, and buying some booze instead.

and that's how i know that you're 100% full of ****. you've brought up points, and i've addressed every one of them. the only point that you were right about (and a point that we agreed on) is the need for a new stadium. everything beyond that was complete bull****.
