D'Onfrio fired at Houston

Remember that video released when that smug SOB was crapping on our players asking "what am I going to do with this" or something along those lines. I knew right then this cat was not a Miami fit or a good coach in general. What coach puts his team on blast publicly like that? That dude can DIAF.

Oh yeah he’s very Aaron Donaldish but he showed his potential freshmen year ... imo whoever he falls to in the draft will get a huge steal.

I was originally shocked he got hired at Houston now I’m positive he won’t have a d1 job

Taylor would be busy covering slot receivers.
 
Literally the worst defensive coordinator in college football history. Here are his stats for this year:

"UH's had one of the worst defensive showings in school history, ending the regular season No. 97 in rushing defense (197.1 yards), No. 106 in scoring defense (34.4 points), No. 124 in total defense (488.5) and No. 129 – last in Football Bowl Subdivision – against the pass (291.4)."

My conspiracy theory is some NFL team pushed the right buttons to get D'onofrio hired so Ed Oliver's stock would fall. Some team is going to get a tremendous value if/when he drops some spots because of how he looked in that system. Genius stuff.

I wish I woulda saved the kid's recruiting profile. He was some slow 2 or 3 star kid outta CT or Delaware...the comp was horrible in his film too. We were his only P5 offer. Everyone was amazed when the kid got a Canes offer...made no sense. The video lined up perfectly, timing and everything, with the kid's offer.
