Thought Brevin besides Scaife handled Burns the best believe or not. One of the TD passes in the 2nd half, Jordan was man handling Burns big time, was great to watch! The new line will need time to gel some but I look for our rushing stats to improve now that we have really T’s in there and Donaldson back to his mauler position.

Same sh*t happened in 2016 when we were getting brutalized with Linder at Center, it took until the Va Tech & ND games before he realized he needed to bench Linder for Gall/Gauthier & kick McDermott outside to Tackle.

Yup, but IIRC, it was injuries to Darling & Linder that forced Him to make those changes.

We need to see big improvements in the run game. Every time we play an above average opponent or when we really need it we get stuffed in the run game. Something gotta give . I mean **** I barely can recall a run play other than that same **** inside zone from the shotgun/pistol

Was this the first time this season we saw Donaldson at RG? If so, no excuse not to test it against the 3 cupcake games earlier.

This is what ****es me off about Searels, it always takes him half the season to figure out the OLine.

Then last year it took way too long to realize Mahoney was better than Darling & get Gaynor in rotation as well.

I'm happy they finally get it, Scaife is an Elite OL he could be an All-American at Guard or Tackle, there's no reason why a guy like Jones should've been occupying a spot for this long. I'm actually still shocked Z Hillery hasn't been further developed yet. I love his upside & hope he eventually gets on the field next year.

For 2019, I think John Campbell the sleeper of all sleepers will emerge & take one of the Tackle spots opposite of Scaife as a starter.

This! 100% agree. It’s one thing to have a guy emerge during the season and take more reps. It’s another thing altogether to not know your personnel. I don’t get it.

Really hoping that Campbelll, Herbert and Hillery emerge for help at T next year.

I’d say FSU on defense is definitely above average. UNC at or slightly below average.
