We have lost an UM great this week. Not only a great player but all around great guy.
Our family has had season tickets for over 50 years and my brother is married to Don’s daughter - he was a great family man and he was so proud of his time at UM. His grandson is a UM law school graduate (as is his father and his paternal grandfather) . We always give a little wave to Don in the ring of honor at the stadium and we will again at the Wake Forest game when Don’s great great grandson (6 months old) will attend his first game - we miss you Don and thank you for everything you did for UM.

In 1986, we didn't have a lot of UM players who were immortalized in the Orange Bowl, but Don Bosseler was one and I learned about him very early in my time as a UM student.

I salute one of the all-time Miami greats! RIP and Gooooo Canes!
