Don’t accept a bowl bid

Guys has anyone discussed not even accepting a crappy bowl bid if we get left out of the cfp?

I know we would lose some money but f it. Why risk injuries to guys we need next season to play in the pop tarts bowl again

Set the precedent for all. F the rest of these bowls. No one is watching anyway so who cares. Half the team opts out anyway.

Totally destroy the bowl system. If it’s going to be the sec payoffs then why even bother if we are left out.

We're contractually obligated to play in a bowl. Take the money and give experience to next year's starters and the seniors who never made it off the bench.

I don't think winning or losing the bowl game is all that important. The love reps for guys like Wiley, Gilbert, maybe a NY Carr, potential OL starters next year are vastly more important.

I'd like to see Nickel play a half more so than seeing Beck play another game.

The focus should be on preparing for 2026. 2025 season is over and done with if we don't make the playoffs. It's time to start developing the roster for next season

Yes, let's throw a big temper tantrum like FSU because that worked soooo well for them.

Miami needs to go out and curb stomp whoever they play. When we got f***ed over in 2000 we beat the crap out of the Gators. The playoffs are not impossible for Miami, they're just almost impossible. So unless you want the team to stop playing football they need as much momentum going into next year as possible. Especially if we play an SEC team.

The ESPN Inc bowl racket is already on its last legs as a significant institution in College Football

The inevitable combination of CFP expansion and home stadium sites for multiple rounds will be the 1-2 punch that sends the dinosaur to extinction.

Fans don’t want to bother with the costs or hassle of traveling to watch meaningless consolation games, e.g. the once-prominent NIT basketball tournament is barely keeping its head above water.

As others have said, better to be seen as a “good partner” when the ACC implodes and we need a new conference than making a protest that will make zero difference
 
That’d be softer than fsu when they didn’t get in. They had a whole bunch of guys sit out, but at least some suited up. Albeit they got they *** taken behind, beside, and under the woodshed. Go out play hard, hopefully win. 21-5 over two seasons is still very impressive.
 
You mean our players should forfeit their free Nintendo GameCube packages? Oh wait, that was over 20 years ago 🤣🤣…but in all seriousness, with a move like that we could morphe into an FSUesque without Travis disastrous **** show. You won’t win anything with a sour grapes move like this.
