He did. Me mentioned firing previous OC and DC and going into the portal to address issues but no mention of six straight games of HIS defense giving up over 30+ points. The Huddle is about to have Richt talk about the challenges of winning at Miami. This should be good. 🙄
 
I mean, replacing Enos after one year was the right decision and Manny deserves credit for that. He was also successful at filling gaps in the depth chart via the portal, at least until this season. Whiffing at LB was inexcusable, and losing T-Will didn't help.

But good God man, the on-field product on the defensive side of the ball is a complete abortion. Rationalize it any way you want, that is 100% on Manny.

That's misleading. I don't think he was protecting Manny at all. He said that Manny has tried and has made some good changes. He mentioned the transfer portal, changing offensive coordinator, replacing some of the upperclassmen with younger players, yet, he insinuated that it likely wasn't enough and that with a new AD, insinuated we all know where this is headed.

Makes you wonder if the narrative around Lash might be a little bit off? Better score 6 TDs a game or you’re going to lose. Our offense has no margin for error

Manny has certainly tried and made moves but they just didn't work. You play to win the game and he couldn't. It felt better than golden sticking with No D or Richt sticking with himself and son though. He bet on himself, which I respect, and lost. He will now need a new gig in about 8 days. The way it should be.
