Dolphins sign LaRon Byrd

### The Dolphins today signed former UM receiver LaRon Byrd to their practice squad. He has one reception in five career NFL games.

I didn't realize the phins needed more help at WR. from what I remember, Byrd was a slow, sure handed kinda guy. Seems like an underwhelming signing

He had so much promise during his first training camp with the Cardinals. I remember reading a bunch of articles saying he was going to be a big contributer. Regardless, he was always one of my favorite 'Canes. Handled himself so well on and off the field.

The practice squad in the NFL is a scout team, not the actual team. The Dolphins are deep at WR so I don't see Byrd getting the call up to the 53.
