What is the narrative going to be next year when Lyle and Trader go elsewhere and have big years? How much talent do we need to get to the ACCCG when we have 2 first round picks and guys like Keonte Scott who is playing like a finalist for the Thorpe Award. Or Baby Jesus who is a top 5 WR in CFB. Laughable how mismanaged the talent is on this team. Guess we need a #1 overall pick at QB? Oh wait they couldn’t get to the ACCCG with Ward and a generational offense last year either.

Offensive coordinators coordinate offenses.
Defensive coordinators coordinate defenses.
Head Coaches supports and facilitates the successes of the above mentioned operations.

Complimentary football...one operations sets the tone for the other.

In other words...let these people do their jobs, and if they can't find some one who can.

There shouldn’t even be a narrative this season you handpicked your portal 4mill QB… dudes like Bain, messidor, Scott, and Thomas on defense. Studs on offense like fletcher and Toney… oh yeah and maugia at RT

You legit got through the toughest part of the season undefeated and blow it against Louisville at home and a crao SMU team on the road

Wait til the regression next year. 4 or 5 new OL. 3 new DL. New QB. Starting all over.

You ain’t lying this is really a pretty “experienced” team when you look at it Top to bottom…

Toney, Lucas, OJ, posier, Blount, lightfoot, and Scott are the only dudes who are seriously getting time this season. Next year is gonna be pretty eye opening for breaking in new starters

Next season may not be pretty.

As you said, probably breaking in 14 or 16 new starters? Losing a few guys to the NFL or otherwise loss of eligibility plus outbound transfers.

I would not be surprised if this season ends 7-5, plus a meaningless ball game.

2026 may not be much better.

How’s that program building going?
