"It's widely known throughout South Florida that Carter is a Hurricane fan. However, the looming NCAA investigation has he and his family worried.
If Carter follows through with his official visit to LSU, it could put the Tigers in good position to earn his commitment. LSU hasn't scheduled many visitors that weekend, so there will be plenty of one-on-one time with the staff, which has a long history of wooing recruits late in the year."
"But Tigers Defensive Back Coach Corey Raymond has made inroads during the summer. Burns, 6 feet 1 and 190 pounds, is one of the best hurdlers in the country and would like to run track in college. Last summer Burns traveled with his high school team on a tour of college programs and LSU was one of the stops. The Tigers need a safety in the 2013 class and are pushing to land Burns. If Miami continues to struggle, expect the rumblings to increase."
