Golden had just gone 6-7 and had 7 players drafted
Shalala was leaving and said she didn't want to make changes at coach until next prez
everyone including recruits knew Golden would get fired the following season...he made no changes on defensive staff


fast forward to now.
almost the same circumstances except CMD has only been here one year.
6-7 record
Frenk may be leaving.
no changes to defensive staff

nothing has changed much in 5 years.

It is the same situation it seems, but it's worse because we've sucked for soooo long now. I feel like Wil E Coyote and as soon as we think there's a light starting to appear at the end of the tunnel, its a train that smacks us right in the face!

I'd say the biggest difference is that Golden's defense was the reason the team couldn't win any games. Diaz's thorn is the offense and he's already fired the Coordinator, so we'll see.

Only this year will be ten times more toxic then goldens 2014. This years toxicity will make that years look like a lullaby bedtime story. The planes, the billboard, lispy looking like a dear in the headlights and 4-8 season is staring this university right in the face. It’s gonna get ugly and they brought that ugliness on themselves. Burn it to the ground, no one survives including the members of the BOT who pushed manure on us. God I wish I could run into Epstein at a game! It would glorious and I’ll leave it at that!
