The bowl game will effectively be a scrimmage. Totally pointless and worthless. We should not play in one if we are able. Avoid injury and spend more time on portal.

I saw a media tweet this morning suggesting that the Canes and Texas might meet at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville.

The Gator Bowl has a contractual ACC vs SEC matchup.

IMO if we get snubbed play the young guys and get them some game reps. Give guys coming back a chance to heal up and start offseason strength and conditioning. Game literally will mean nothing.

A lot of the kids played in the bowl game last year because of the NIL stipulations. I would assume it would be the same now so kids that sit out would be forfeiting some money. I was under the belief that Xavier was different sue to an older NIL deal so it didn't bother his wallet any to sit out.

You need info to decide NIL value, and what you need in the portal.

This should be treated as an audition/tryout for guys who didn't get much burn during the season. It's an early spring game and should be treated as such.

Let Nickel prep for the second half of the game while Emory takes the first half.

Winning or losing these bowl games means nothing, but live reps are valuable to see what you have waiting in the wings

100% this. anyone you already know is leaving for NFL or likely starting for us next year should not play in these bowl games. dont risk injury and get a chance to see what you have in your young guys/get them game experience
