Does no playoff mean

If you’re not a high dollar donor and missed the spring game, this is the reprise of that game…except vs some other rando opponent.

Opt outs and draft eligibles will abound

Non CFP Bowl games are now irrelevant, we should want as many young guys playing as possible to get a live action previews of what we potentially have.

There was talk of NIL being tied to things like playing in bowl games. That might impact the decisions of certain players.

Multiple guys will sit out. We will lose. Nobody will care.

The pop tart bowl was probably the least I’ve watched a Miami game in the last 5 years. I watched Bethune more closely than I watched that game last year. We don’t win bowl games here. They’re meaningless. Just is what it is. You won’t see 3, 4, 0, 8, or 61 in a uniform here ever again. And that’s at best. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Who cares about the bowl. It’s strictly for extra practices and to treat it as a scrimmage now, rotating a bunch of guys for experience.

Essentially will turn into another spring game… trot our Nickel and whatever oline combination you think will be best next year

Defense will look about the same except of course for our beast DE combo… Pickett, scroggins and light foot time

If we play in a meaningless bowl game like Pop Tarts or Gator Bowl (even against Texas), we better focus 100 percent on the young guys so we can make informed decisions regarding the portal. If healthy, the freshman TEs need to play extensively, as does the youngsters on the DL and if he can, Wiley at LB.

Bowl game might be useful to see Luke Nickel play and maybe the young receivers to get more reps. But they will probably play Emory and not Nickel at all. Then run the most basic offense you’ve ever seen. So yeah waste of time.
