When Miami begins practicing on Sunday night and then Tuesday through Thursday, Richt is also going to be looking for indications from his players in terms of a willingness to play with effort and effectiveness.
“I definitely want to put a premium on seeing how we practice,” Richt said. “I want to see how the quarterbacks practice, how the linemen practice, the running backs, tight ends, and wide receiver. Across the board. We want to make sure we play the guys that earn the right to play on a weekly basis. That will be a big emphasis this week.”
