BYU is the buffer. You’re saying you can’t envision a world but yet could you have ever envisioned a world where we’re in this situation with the H2H win and same record as ND?

It’s pretty clear committee doing whatever they can to keep ND and not Miami. If there’s ANY doubt, they will use it. If BYU loses by single digits they will stay at 11 and they will say “we didn’t compare Miami to ND but Miami/ND/BYU”

Just be prepared. It has to go perfect for us, which is Bama win, TTU convincing W.

BYU is the buffer this week, because they can't release a ranking in which we are 1 spot below ND.

Think there is a 0.0% chance if BYU loses by just a single point that we aren't ranked ahead of them. You lose; you drop.

They set up the rankings like they did this week so that: 1. Bama is guaranteed a spot, absent a Simpson injury 2. ND isn't guaranteed a spot, but is the overwhelming fav to get in 3. There's still a scenario in which we will get in.

Even the writer in the bunch, Maisel, has written a book about Frank Leahy and co-hosted a show with Beano Cook, maybe the greatest shill for ND in history. Yeah, we got this…..

If the Yes to Miami in the CFP flips to a -# I’d start looking ahead to TAMU. The plus means you’d make that on a $100 bet. The - means you’d have to pay that to make $100.

Well I understand that.. Just wasn't sure what would consider big movement..like if it went from +570 to +100 in 2 days, would that be noteworthy?

Maybe. I doubt it’d get that close to a pick em even if someone threw absolutely stupid money down. If it flips drastically after the BYU game we’d probably have our answer.

If anything I bet ND moves closer to a pick em by Saturday’s kickoffs. Since they have a double edged sword of us and BYU.
