Does Malachi Toney move outside next year?

Do you move him outside and allow him to be your number 1? Personally I think he is capable of being our number 1.

He was moved around a lot this season. Almost always in motion. Jet sweeps. Throwing TD’s. Catching TD’s. Punt returns. Direct snap runs. I just don’t know how much more there is for him to do.
Take on HC, OC, and DC duties during game.

Oh, and have him play TE because Lofton doesn't do ****.

#1 WR just means the guy that gets the most looks. Just like it says #1 option on most plays. Doesn’t matter where he is lined up. But they typically get moved around to find matchups to exploit

If your question is to improve his draft stock, then yes. In Dawson’s offense the slot is the #1 WR, so moving him would be counterintuitive.

What?

We already move him all over the field. Inside, outside, it doesn't matter.

We just signed a 6'3" guy, a 6'4" guy, and a 6'5" guy. Even then, Malachi can line up wherever he (and the OC) wants to line up.

The slot is the number 1 in Shannon Dawson’s offense. Look at how many catches Tank Dell and Xavier Restrepo had playing this system

With all of the option/choice routes in the offense, wouldn't you want your smartest, best football player in those spots?

People may clown this post but it’s a legit question because, you want to Give the NFL different looks. I think it isn’t a bad decision to have him split time on the outside and slot just to be can have the tape…
