not like tebow , manziel , jameis etc

but with espn pushing the sec initiative
I think they do anything possible to play up a FSU lose ....and with duke being on his way out , does kaaya ...true freshman and son of an actress from an iconic movies get labeled the golden child of college football for the next 2-3 years if he ends FSU's streak?
Would certainly help recruiting offensive weapons ...... Perhaps ensuring we keep future ermon lanes , Calvin Ridleys and Amari coopers etc moving forward

The "CANES" become the relevant household name after we win....Then on to the glory of everyone back to hating us next year....Can't wait....

He will have to throw the ball down the field to beat FSU. Just Duke will not beat them at all.

kaaya might be the best qb we ever put into the NFL

Kaaya is looking more and more like a game manager who can make the throws over the middle that we havent seen since 2000 Dorsey and the boys from 80's eras. He's no Vinnie in terms of natural gifts, but he's looking more like Steve Walsh and Craig Erickson everyday. That's high praise.

Morris was an enormous boat anchor in that he couldn't use the middle of the field. Kaaya gives us a shot against FSU.

You can't really see it all that often right now.

Next year is when you'll see it become his offense and that's when you'll see his arm talent.

His Ball Placement is what is wowing me thus far

Kaaya has made some of the most beautiful deep throws I have seen a college quarterback make in any class (several of which have been dropped). He's far from just a game manager, though I understand why you would make that comment. He's got all the tools to be a successful quarterback in both college and in the NFL. He's playing better than Peyton did his true freshman year. He's looked like a seasoned veteran the last two games and has improved every week. It's scary to think how good he will be with a year in the playbook under his belt. That said, he's primed for a tough game. I would not be surprised (or overly discouraged) if he struggles against the Noles.

Kaaya sees the field quickly and is an accurate passer. He is a real gamer and tough as nails. He is on a mission and has a great future. Its why when Jameis leaves Miami surges ahead of FSU as best team in the state.

I love Vinny, nobody was better at 3rd and long, but give me Steve, Craig or Dorsey all day. Kaaya reminds me of them also, although I think he has bigger arm. The kid is exactly the type of QB that led us to all our NCs. Can't run very well so he stays in pocket gives the receiver that last second to beak open. Kid has serious smarts and preparation working.

Beating fsu will put Duke in NY for Heisman selection and everyone will know Kaaya's name. Unfortunately, the key to beating feather people will be on other side of ball and the coaching staff. If defense can bring the pain to Rapist on every play and staff keep up with Dumbo's adjustments, then Brad and Duke will have chance for history making. Criminoles are relying on true freshmen for their big plays(surprising for the self-proclaimed greatest team ever last year). There is a chance we get the mistakes we need to win. I am very comfortable with our players vs their players, it is the coaching match up that scares the crap out of me.

He is a household name with "real" college football fans and in about a year or so he'll reach rock star status.

VT & UNC were putting 8-9 in the box and Duke was annihilating them. A back with his acceleration and ability to make the first tackler miss can destroy teams when the line of scrimmage is stacked. Once he gets to second level he's getting at 10+. As an ESPN writer posted on twitter, since October first he's had 72 rushes. 5 times he lost yards, 21 times gained 10 yards +. Stack the box, we dare you. Also Brad Kaaya is 4th place in yards per passing attempt behind Alabama/Oregon/Miss St QBs. We good.

He will be well known after he beats F$U. I talked w/ a Hokie the other day that was impressed and talking up Kaaya - everyone else will be after 11/15

VT and UNC don't have FSU's athletes. If they don't see Kaaya as a threat, game is over.
