It was the LSU game part 2. Pregame scuffle, opposing team punched us in the mouth like biatches...then team came out with zero fire, got mauled and manhandled. The difference is that FSU is terrible, no where near LSU, so we were able to make a fierce late comeback, almost purely due to our defense. Yes, Richt did go on 4th back to Cager, yes the throws to Thomas and Brevin were great, but the overall playcalling was abysmal. Year 3. Ditto for abysmal special teams. Year 3. Zero Probation. Zero loss of 30 scholarships. Where is the emotion and fire at kickoff?
The other way to look at it is that god awful corch Willie freaking Taggart, FIRST YEAR, with a terrible team (lost to Samford!!), came in and **** near beat us at home...in Year 3. I'm happy we won, but all the signs are there for all but the biggest slurpers to see.

They didn't lose to Samford and no they're team isnt that bad. They have deficiencies like we do but Willie walked into a way better roster of any 1st year coach look it up. They still have talent on both sides of the ball.

In the end, not really. And yeah, as it's been said before, some of our worst teams under Golden played some of Jimbos best teams tough. This kind of game is always a possibility in this rivalry.
 
No, but we honestly did leave 10 points on the field at the end of the game with the missed FG and not scoring at the end; which was the right call/anti-Petrino call.

on paper their recruitig classes are better than ours the last 5 years. people forget

My bad, it was VT and Syracuse that absolutely mauled them. They rallied against Samford. They are still a terrible team and Taggart is still a terrible corch in his first year.
 
A win is a win but YES because once again we stuck a spear through their heats when they thought they were going to win. The world is coming back together and making Miami great again.
 
Fswho fans were salty 4th qtr & after the game. And ofc I thght it was my civic duty to rub more salt in the wound. Their fans are puss!es just like their football team. Great win!

Agree Taggert is bad...i think he's in over his head...FSU boosters and fans won't tolerate this much longer especially with a new AD who didn't hire him to begin with. His offenses will not work at this level....USF and western ky yes but not in the P5
