Does it bother anyone else that

We have a 10 in our win column instead of 11 because of the Arkansas st cancelation? I just feel like people are forgetting that we really should have had an 11 win regular season which is a massive improvement even with our last two games. I know it’s not really a big deal but a 12 win season with an orange bowl victory would have made me pretty pumped if you told me that’s how we finished before the season.

Thank your lucky stars we didn't have a chance to not show up that Saturday as well.

We are the ones who chose to cancel that game.

You are so right. This makes me so angry that I wish we could just go back and alter the space-time continuum so that we could insert an extra week into the season to reschedule the Arkansas State game.

And then I wish we could have gotten a ship to sail out with a giant net and a giant fan to divert the course of Hurricane Irma.

****, why doesn't our terrible AD think of these ideas? Our administration simply does not support our football team.

I feel you, man. Not a huge deal, but 11-2 sounds better than 10-2. It's more about optics than anything, and it will "matter" more in the future when looking back and discussing this season in context with others. Things like "Richt/Miami improved from his first to second year by 1 win in the regular season..." or "Miami hasn't won 11 games since..."

This will of course be less of an issue if we win the bowl game.

So it doesn't matter that much, but yeah I feel you.

What the hurricane did more than anything besides the cancellation of the game was it ruined our weeks off. We never had a bye once we got to actually playing and our young players hit the wall while at the same time getting a bit unlucky/horrific timing with the injury bug. We have a mentally tough team, we just wore down. Clemson had more players and they got their injured players back about 2 weeks ago. When you recruit like gangbusters you can plug and play more.
