Dodge ball at practice

Put the coaches in the center and throw grenades at them. Film it and sell to us fans. Proceeds would be enough to buy Saban and Kirby Smart.

To be honest, I don't give a ****. Saban and Sumlin and the other good coaches out there understand that taking a mental break and letting guys let off steam is sometimes worthwhile, and if you honestly think that taking off a few hours cost us 18 points against L'ville, I've got some other things to sell you.

Now, ending camp early is a different story...

This is a really stupid thread. This site is displaying a classic mob mentality. Please help me understand how dodgeball impacted the ****** play calling. Go **** yourself.

Honestly that doesn't bother me.

What bothers me is they aren't coaching these kids right. 5 more minutes of practice wouldn't change that.

Perhaps because we're playing children's games at practice and then looking Charmin soft on game day. So, no, **** yourself you complacent ****

Children's games aren't making us soft. Our terrible schemes are.

But yea we suck mane.

The dodge ball and all the hype surrounding it are merely symptoms of a much bigger problem.

It's systemic at this point. Everything except these poor kids is up for mockery and insult. Deservedly so.

A GAME OF DODGE BALL AFTER PRACTICE CURSE YOU GOLDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Golden obviously wasn't motivating the team enough during the dodgeball game, he should've tried this:

IMO, ending practice early and then not showing up prepared for your first game is what everyone should be talking about. That's an indictment of their inability to prepare that's even more damning than the terrible game day coaching everyone's focused on.

I'm actually surprised they let them play dodgeball. Seems like its too aggressive of an activity to let the players play. Too much 'attacking.'

Who knows, maybe the changed the strategy and made the players read and react, so as soon as the whistle was blown all the players were just standing there waiting for someone else to move. Picture that, cause its a hilarious image to put in your head.

Exactly.
