A team can't " fire on 4 cylinders " if the offense is bland, and conservative! dUh.

Richt is using his old FSU playbook. He is banking on having better athletes at every position against every team we face regardless of offensive scheme. He got every drop of water out of Golden's P5 rejects...Next year will be all his guys. His quarterback.

He beat FSU twice so yes and on pace to win the Coastal for a 2nd year in a row so yes again. And he’s one of the bes HCs in cfb... is the reason Manny is here when the same ones were bctchn about not wanting Diaz hired in the 1st place.

Anybody that’s still on the Fire Mark Richt bandwagon needs to kill themselves to ease the pain. It’ll be ok after you do it trust me.

There was a point in time when Georgia supported Rix, just not as OC. He got an OC... Same disappointment year in year out after. Hey Bobo may be fired you’ll get your wish

Though he makes me pull my hair out with some of his bonehead decisions, I'll support whoever is on the Cane's staff until I die or until they move on.

I support the team, I support our players & I always support my school.

I do not, nor will I ever have blind loyalty to a Coach over the program. The U comes first, not the Coach.

I like Richt a lot as a CEO & a good recruiter, but he NEEDS to hire an OC & no not his son, not elevate someone from within, not some inexperienced High School coach, a dedicated X's & O's technician who's done it elsewhere & has his own experience & wisdom he can bring to the practice field & meeting room.

Richt is still light years better than Golden, Shannon, Coker. Richt was the best option we could get after firing Golden.

Richt is the guy to get Miami from 7-8 wins a year to 10 wins a year, but won't get Miami in the playoffs.

He is who most thought he was, so set your expectations accordingly.

Who the fck cares...walked, ran, swam, etc...The point is CMR has already been in the situation where he has given up playcalling. CMR even said he missed coaching QBs. He has gotten every drop out of Golden's QBs and that deserves some points. He deserves the chance to get his QB in there too. From his FSU comments, he likes his quarterbacks to ride the pine for a couple years and learn the system. Maybe we've been harsh too early because we have this add water and instantly we're Alabama mentality because we love the program so much. Once Malik and the rest of Goldens Oline are gone and his guys finally takes over, all is fair game.
I hear you Cane18.......There's a good quote that says "If you don't become familiar with the history, then you are deem to repeat it" or something close to that!
We heard the same thing about getting all of his guys on defense when Golden was here. Now just 2 years later and pretty much with a lot of Golden guys still here we now are the #1 defense in the country! But I guess what you are saying that Richt need to have all 5 stars on offense in order for his ultra vanilla play calling to work instead of getting a real OC in here.

Hate to break it to you guys, but he sucks as a HC/CEO as well. A few examples being:

- Hiring a staff that has been questionable since day 1. Consisting 90% of coaches who are first time coaches, recruiting specialists who can't coach, or coaching specialists that can't recruit. Miserable formula and to the surprise of no one, not good enough.

- Unwilling or unaware that he had to make the easiest decision of the century and relieve Hartley of his ST duties during the offseason.

- Has shown a complete inability to retain any player that shows the slightest hint of wanting to transfer or declare early even at the most critical positions. (Wouldn't it be nice to have Allison right now? Just one of at least 5 crucial guys he's lost since he's been here)

- Either giving the order or signing off on incredibly stupid recruiting strategies (recruiting one RB and whiffing in '16, no LB's in '17) and whiffing on other critical positions that leave our classes good, but woefully incomplete.

And let's just see if he cleans house this offseason. Mainly, letting go of Searles and Rumph if they don't do the only thing that can save them at this point and bring in an incredible recruiting class. If he doesn't then we have a bonafide Golden 2.0 as coach.

Calm down. Richt does not “suck” as a HC just because you don’t like the assistant coaches.

Lol at Allison being a crucial guy we lost are you on crack... this poRst needs another term to describe how trash it is.

And no ur opinions on who he should let go holds no validity... you still chirping about Rumph who is one of the best db coaches in cfb gtfoh clown

If he's not willing to give up playcalling at the very LEAST, he has to go. I don't know what he sees what anyone with a pulse can see how lethargic this offense is. Stacy and Jorn are the biggest liability on the staff. Hartley needs to give up ST, make him focus only on TE and make him head of recruiting or something. Brown gets paid way too much for what he does - to be a YES man. In fact, the whole staff is full of yes mans. Strip the OC title from him and dugans. I don't even know wtf Patke does. Do whatever you need to do to keep Diaz happy. #1 Defense with the #1000 offense is pathetic. If there's no major changes, things will get ugly real quick.

Not good? Despite the anger we all feel at his playcalling abilities at this stage of his career, CMR is like the third all-time winningest active head coach in the NCAA. CMR is a good face for the program off the field. He got the IPF done.
Lol at he got the IPF done....No he didn't...it was going up with or without his 1million....
