He's clearly handed the O play calling fully over to Dawson and the D play calling fully over to Hetherington. He's literally taken himself out of the equation - yet still he gets blame.

His skillset is acquiring talent and he's doing an excellent job at that.

What he needs now is to find a way to influence these refs - whether that's kneecapping them or their loved ones, I don't care.

Mario needs to find a way to win games with a massive talent advantage so the refs can't influence the outcome. Unfortunately he can't do that so he needs to go.

We literally watch the refs fck us every time on no existent calls and we come on here and blame Mario. Did Jojo not drop a pass that turned into an interception then touchdown? Did lofton not drop a touchdown? You’re gonna get hit just hold on to the ball. Did we not watch a catch for SMU that wasn’t a catch? Did we not see the refs pick up a flag for defensive pass interference that would have ended the game. Did we not see any of that! Players did not make plays and refs fcked us. Period.

How can he do that?

They literally throw a flag any time we get a big play or the opposition needs a big play.

The 2001 Canes couldn't have overcome this level of officiating.

Look at the final two drives - a phantom holding call and picking up a blatant DPI flag on a play that ices the game. Next drive a 15 yard penalty on 4th and forever because they blow the whistle late on a TO.

It's egregious.
 
That’s exactly what i meant. It’s all individual effort. Yea they’ll put out a pro or two but its not a team determined to win a championship

He's not able to turn water into wine, therefore he's the wooooooorst.

You forgot the fumble by Jennings at the start of the second half that the replay booth somehow overturned.

The refs are not the reason we lost this game. It was undisciplined play andf poor offensive coaching. We are so predictable on offense it's sickening to watch. How many WR screens that go for 2 yards or less are we going to call? How many times on 3rd and 1 are we going to run up Brockermeyers ***? Do we not have a counter off that play to break tendencies? And Lofton, son it's a zone, stop and settle in the open area. So many low IQ plays today. So many bad play calls. So many undisciplined plays. Horrible coaching on offense. I'm convinced that as long as Mario is coach we will play down to the competition.

It’s insane. He didn’t hit him hard at all. He didn’t hear the whistle. And the crowd at that moment. I could hear it on the broadcast.
