Do you guys think blake knows his time is ticking

My best read on blake james is that everything he's doing right now can be described as interviewing for his current job via the media in the hopes that any and all potential UM Presidential candidates will see that he is vigorously on top of everything.

What, exactly, has he demonstrated being on top of? If anything he is publicly attaching himself to a proven failure. Not a great strategic move.

I think you're looking past my post.

Its not that he is on top of things, its that he is trying to use the media to give that appearance. His last public statement was a great example. He said something like,

"Coach Golden and I will meet again next week to formulate a plan to quantify what changes need to be made to get this turned around, etc..."


Its not that he's actually on top of anything, but rather he knows that he has to audition for the next president, whomever that may be. So he's doing **** like this to make it look like he's got things under control.
