Do you believe?

These young men believe.

They're gonna do what we already know they're capable of and...

Grok and Gemini said the same thing- if Miami hadn’t lost to SMU and Louisville, we’d be -2.5 to -6.5 favorites. So the 8.5 pt dog and potential blowout narrative comes almost entirely from the two games that served as a wake up call to this team and made it what it is today.

I completely believe. I also know if Miami comes out and makes mistakes early the game will be ugly. Perfection is what we'll need. I believe that we can

I’m watching a replay of the Matt Barrie show where Finebaum talks about awaiting a Coronation (Indiana) & said if you turn off the game in the 4th qtr you’re probably going to be ok. That it’s not going to be particularly close….

Maybe we are all delusional but…. I believe.

Defenses win championships and the road to this point makes me BELIEVE. Part of me is glad it’s these kids against the CFB world but it would be nice if they were given some modicum of respect. Oh well, shock the world. GO CANES

The narrative of them trouncing us, is basically from them getting up on Bama and Bama giving up, and then Oregon comes in and spots them with 3 turnovers and a blocked punt close to the endzone. Sorry, I don’t see them as world beaters and them being put in there with the greatest college teams is asinine in my opinion. The teams they struggled with during their season, were more physical and bigger than them. If they do trounce us ill eat crow but don’t see it happening.

I’ll say it again “ I really like this matchup “

as do I. Even before knowing the opponent - given the choice between Ohio State, Oregon, Ole Miss, TAMU or Indiana, in the title game I would have picked Indiana. Oregon and Ole **** ran tempo offenses that could wear down the defense through attrition. Ole **** almost stole the game at the end because we were so depleted in the secondary and the DL was gassed.

Ohio St, TAMU, and Indy play a similar style of football as us. They want physical tough games. Difference is Indy doesn’t have as good a OL/DL as these other two. Thats perfect for us.

The old adage styles make fights applies - it’s preferable to fight someone who has a similar style to your own but isn’t nearly as good at it than it is to fight someone who has a completely different style.

Curious as to why you like the match up.
