Do you agree?

If you haven’t figured out that the guy that unceremoniously fired Manny mid-season, like a 2 dollar whöre giving a bad ********, is mindfūcking Manny, you don’t know what’s going on.

These old southern “gentlemen“ are masters of praise mind games. That old fox knows he might be headed for a buzzsaw, so he’s pulling out every trick he knows out of his bag.

These guys don’t like each other any more than Richt and Fedora liked each other, no matter what they say.

They will never admit it, but this game means a little something more.

Mack Brown what are you getting up to?? You trying to get in Manny's head before the game? You put that crap away until after we finish up the season.

"In the discussion" implies he's worthy of consideration. I agree with that. So Far. What the team has accomplished this year overcoming the many challenges off the field as well as being 8-1 after a dismal 6-7 last year, Manny's done a really good job keeping this team together.

This game is the measuring stick for their program. It's like their superbowl. I was watching Packer & Durham this morning and they discussed what this game means to both schools. They also felt if UNC loses and finishes 7-4, the season was a disappointment given the talent, etc

From the UNC 247 board:

I remember the vast majority of this board were skeptical of the D'Eriq King preseason hype, thinking he couldn't possibly all that.
Well, all he's done this season is prove week after week that the hype was warranted. 2,800 yards from scrimmage (almost 500 rushing yds), 24 TDs, and he's throwing it deep (9 air yards/attempt) and with a level of accuracy some would find surprising (64% completion percentage).
Their DL doesn't mess around, either. Even without surefire top 15 pick Greg Rousseau, they've racked up 25+ sacks and, more impressively, 70+ TFLs.
The good news there is their games against Louisville, Clemson, and NCSU showed you can put up points against them.
IMO, the biggest difference between us and Miami this year is that Miami won the games they were supposed to and we didn't. They're beatable, but they're also #10 for a reason.
This is the most reasonable assessment of a team I've seen this year. No way this came from a fan?

After going 6-7 last season, losing to FIU, Duke, and Louisiana Tech, and having QBs get high before games, I think he absolutely should be.

I wanted Manny fired last season, but the data is clear. We have improved and he is recruiting well. I think he's done a **** of a job this year.

We better beat UNC though lol

UNC, is about to feel it. Diaz and his staff got our boys all on the same page and they're firing on all cylinders.

Revenge Tour is Full Effect
Up next UNC, and yes we see you Ga Tech....

Agreed with everything said here

The ultimate prize! But we are more than likely to see Dumbo Fisher and the Aggies. Would be nice to gut and fillet him just for old time's sake.

People can use whatever excuses they want to try and downplay what Manny has done so far this year..but the facts are the facts..the man was at the edge of the plank, staring into the abyss just 10months ago. Everyone wanted him either fired or wanted Alonzo Highsmith to come in and hover over him. The man responded big time. We end the season 10-1 and hes definitely ACC coach of the year and in serious contenion for National Coach of the Year. He and the Indiana HC will split the NCOY awards I think.

A 10-1 season ending would basically put us as the #6 or #7 team in the country by default. Helluva turnaround by Manny.

If Manny wins out, and we’re talking Manny vs the Indiana Coach, then I think it would be unjust for Manny not to win it.

Indiana went 8-5 last year. Miami went 6-7 with losses to absolute dreck like FIU, La Tech, Duke or whoever else. I’m pretty sure that Indiana beat those types of teams.
