Paul Dee didn't just hire Butch Davis, he hired Larry Coker and Randy Shannon. Kirby Hocutt hired Al Golden. Sean Eichorst extended Al Golden after a 6-6 season to 9 years after his hire! So people blamed Shalala! Shalala's gone!

This goes beyond the AD or President, this is a systematic problem. $$$$ is the issue. Miami's decline is in direct correlation to the EXPLOSION of money in other college football program spending.

Unless we get someone with deep pockets on the BOT to threaten something that has to do with funds ain’t nothing happening unless heat gets to Mork and they give him his money to leave.Vilma has a seat on the BOT and can’t be happy but he needs a couple others with deeper pockets than his to demand change.

Empty the stadium,stop donations and stop buying merchandise and it will start to hit home.Its the only thing the Admin. Will understand.

Losing enough money will get their attention cause they football money to run the rest of the sports programs.

Our problem is 99% of our big money people are more interested in getting their names on a lab building than caring about the football program.Other top programs have deep pocket boosters willing to give anything asked of them to be a part of the program so when they come together as a group and make a threat it’s listened to.We don’t have them so all of our threats like the guy that gave 600 grand OVER 20 YEARS though a nice amount is laughed at

Until our money men demand change nothing g will be done.
 
This is the same conversation we had just a few years ago when we were trying to get Alfredo canned.

The BOT knows **** about football, so they hired an AD that knows even less, but thinks he's the smartest person in the room. These are the main problems. The BOT can't be fired so Flake has to go.

Butch would make a great AD. He's qualified to hire a competent up and coming coach. Butch would take the job in 5 seconds.

If he really donated 600k and that response " we have 600k donations on a yearly basis" then there is no issue on buying out MoRks contract.

And this is why Miami fails at both academics and athleics. The BOT don’t care about either one. They approach everything they do lazily and half-assed.

Richt is MORE stubborn than Al Golden, and our BOT is asleep. Nobody is getting run out.

It’s as if we intentionally hire people who are so loyal that they refuse to make ANY adjustments or ANY changes.

First Golden with Doritos, and now Richt with his abortion of an offense.

I’m sure we prioritize loyalty when we hire coaches because we underpay. We hire people we think are so pig-headed they’ll stick around...but then that shoots us in the foot. ‘

The only things fans should be paying for are banners, not tickets. Don't show up, and instead, donate to get some banners going pre- during and post- games.
