Georgia losing drops ND's SOS,....while Alabama losing would give them 3 losses and potentially open up another spot. (Edit: I see that Georgia played ND LAST YEAR, not THIS YEAR)

Given all the biases we already know about, which would be better?

IMO Miami will be in regardless of the remaining CG results. We needed a BYU loss to open up an at-large spot, so now it's going to come down to Miami vs. ND for that spot. Having Bama in between us or not is immaterial.
I 100% agree

it's just too loud and they played musical chairs enough, putting bama artificially between ND and Miami won't save the backlash of head to head for them now that it's the final ranking and one team has to get in and one team has to be left out

my biggest fear was BYU win or byu super close loss and staying ahead of us

we're absolutely in

Common sense would deem it immaterial. That is not how the committee operates. They will use backwards logic of miami not being in the same tier as ND because Bama is between us.

Roll Tide.

That should be the case, but they have showed the past few weeks that unless ND and Miami are back to back the head-to-head won't take precedent.

In theory, the outcome of this game doesn't matter. What we needed to happen (BYU losing big) already happened.

The issue is we are dealing with a corrupt, compromised, inept, and incompetent committee. As such we're all forced to try to guess what these a$$holes are going to do in the case of Bama/GA win or a blowout in either direction.

In theory....our clearest path is being compared DIRECTLY with ND one spot away in the rankings. IN THEORY, that is best accomplished with Bama winning.

But who the **** knows, we've now entered the WWE section of programming.

The Tuesday show reveals are only for selling ads. No precedents have been set by the rankings up to this point. Only the last ranking matters, and the tide has turned against ND.
