Do we have any drills like this?

Yes. We saw it either last year or the year before in one of the training camp videos. Same exact. I don't have the time or patience to go find it tho.

OP spend sometime on Canes You tube channels an you can answer your own questions and become a more knowledgeable fan. This way you won't have to try and down play the coaching at UM when in actuallity EVERYONE has some form of that drill. The drill is a derivative of the old Oklahoma drill.

Unfortunately truer words were never spoken, about the coaching philosophy UM's staff employes!

Preach on Brother West-Ga-Cane, Preach on! An let the people say amen!

Go Canes

No.

Those drills require aggression. We rely on passivity.

Those drills develop muscle memory. Our drills develop soccer skills - no hands, no tackling . . .

To the OP this where the practicing the Oklahoma drills becomes effective, and watching this video of Art Kehoe will be insightful an also sadden the reader about UM's philosophy toward short yardage situations.

Hey, go easy on soccer. There's a good many soccer players around the world who I'd bet could tackle as well as our guys....albeit with their feet if need be.
