Do we get 40,000 today actual seat count

Why does it seem our fans get wet about absolutely abysmal attendance... Dafuq is that

I would be shocked to see 40,000 with this type of fan base. I'm predicting 1/2 empty

I'm waiting for the announced attendance. I turned on the game and was disappointed to see what looked like a near empty stadium. That can't be helpful to the team.

Shame on you people in South Florida who don't go to games (without good excuse). I still can't believe that CiS sponsored an event away from stadium during the game 2 weeks ago. Also, the beach is there 7 days a week, the game is not. They showed a shot of the beach, and it was empty. So, where is this excuse of competing attractions? Don't need to go to clubs and restaurants at 3:30 pm. They'll be open tonight.

Getting back to the team: I Ithink our problems are largely mental. I don't know what can be done to fix it.

You just can't force a kid a few months out of high school to be a game ready left tackle. He needs time.

We also looked surprised and unprepared on defense, but that happens. Hurricane Coach-God Jimmy Johnson had the same thing happen to him on a number of occasions. Don't think it didn't happen. It did. More than once. Today, we couldn't adequately prepare for a new QB about whom we knew nothing. The same thing happened to JJ in the '85 Oklahoma game when we were caught by surprise by Troy Aikman's passing. There were other examples. Fortunately, we were good enough on offense to overcome any problems on defense. We were never caught so shorthanded on OL as we are today. There's not much we can do about that right now. I just think the coaches should be more aggressive in leaving no stone unturned to find OLs, and and that includes 5th year transfers, portal, JUCOs and straight out of high school.

we really need to have more competition at kicking positions. Our punting is OK, placekicking not. Should recruit competition. We are at the same position with Baxa we were last year with Figgles.

Calling Jimmy a "God" is just sarcasm. I loved Jimmy. But people here think Jimmy and Butch were infallible.

Neither is Manny. Today we saw some heart and passion by our young kids but we just are too shorthanded on OL. Whether our coaching is good enough....I don't know. I think that maybe they put too much on Jarren. Maybe we need to simplify and stay more spread as many here have suggested. I'm not as smart about X's and O's as many here are.

I think Penn vs Dartmouth had more fans last night than FSU did last week.
I had a colleague in the '80's who would take the train to Philly from D.C. for Penn games.

So many pathetic lazy people in South Florida who won't drive 5 or 10 miles to go to the stadium. What's with that?

I live 1000 miles away and would still go to games if I could afford it and didn't have some physical problems that make it very difficult.
