Were not on the level of any sec programs or any big 10 program. That's why Nevin felt he was the man..he literally was one of the only dudes tryna portray a bagmen....and getting scammed for being thirsty by Aldarius Johnson...dude thought he was paying for abortions n sh*t.lol
 
Our bagmen are attention whores and convicts. These SEC schools got that old money, those rich alumni, blazers and khakis types that want W's not spotlight. Drinking Arnold Palmers on the porch, telling players to "come around the club tomorrow for a job," and letting them wash a few cars before peeling off some 100s and tipping them 1k for the days work.

Our program attracts the dregs of the city, and most of the wealthy people in Miami that could contribute anything are foreigners that have no idea football even exists and are busy driving around in velvet Lamborghinis with a *** swing for a passenger seat.

late coker/early shannon they had some pull, but no one gave a **** about football players during the golden years. i saw chickillo get denied at barracuda in the grove because he was being a drunk ******* and tried pulling the football player card.
 
If some of you remember from some of Shapiro's interviews when asked about buying recruits he flat out said you can not out bid the SEC. That of course got no pull on ESPN.

The bag men are not known. They have been around for years. You have to be a willing recruit to meet one. They do not want to be known and hurt the program.

Shapiro as a booster was a joke. The guy had to be hated by the real boosters. The guy had Donna on a rope thinking he was going to give more and he never did. The real boosters give you an academic center, new football fields, a $4,000,000 coach and an airplane. They do not give you 50K at a bowling alley and have a player lounge only. We would not be D1 without real boosters. And they do not want to hang with 20 year old kids. But they do get the top players to their 13 year olds birthday party and they get the QB or the all American to go to a charity function and give them thousand dollar hand shakes with promises of more if they do well.
 
It would be naive to suspect otherwise but as a smaller school, we probably have fewer than other power 5 schools (particularly SEC schools).
