Do the ESPN announcers and ACC refs get paychecks from Duke?

it was just unreal the calls they were giving kelly. in a 3 point game like this, those killed us. straight bull****. plus the fact they have the biggest duke sucker call everyone of their games is ******* annoying. i cant wait when **** v **** kicks the bucket. dude is a joke.
 
Quit the freaking whining. Reggie & Rion do **** offensively and this is why we lost. These two have not done **** for to long and these two will be the reason we don't win ****! The rest of the team fought very hard and I am proud of what this team did tonight.

Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. It's no surprise that Duke has incredible defense during the season when they play at Cameron and are allowed to get away with handchecks and holds then falter more often than not against weak opponents in the offseason.

Duke gets their calls at home, always have, always will. Nothing to be worried about this was a good game.

The charge on Larkin was a joke, and the touch foul on Larkin the next time down the floor was even more of a joke. Scott could press charges on the Duke defender after being mugged on a drive, even Vitale said it was a foul, but no foul was called of course. Only time I've seen our guys get flustered all year was during this game, and it was because of the refs, not the fans, and not anything Duke actually did.

On top of that their star player plays out of his mind, they shoot 52%, got seemingly a lot of bounces and still nearly choked it away. On a neutral site, we wipe the floor with Duke's ****y pants players.
 
Got to believe the legendary Coach K spends 30 minutes a practice honing flopping skills. His bench-load of Diaper Dandies are ridiculously good floppers. If you get 4-5 of those in a tight ballgames it's huge. Meanwhile, ****y V, who is clueless, never utters a word as he's too busy cannonizing Coach K and his storied program. Great game and this clown bull****s his way through it. Let him do his programmed act in the pre-game and put Doris Burke in the analyst seat. I'd love to have heard offer Jay Bilas' sharp insight, even if he is a Duke alum.
 
Did anyone else notice when their fans pushed one of our players when he was over towards the scorers table? Wasn't coach K complaining about player safety yesterday?

I keep hearing from all the talking heads that Dook is a different team with Kelly back. I beg the differ. He doesn't make anybody play better. He is 99% of the reason we lost tonight.
 
If Duke is as good as everyone says with Kelly back, what does that make us? Just as good as them or better, I guess. Wonder when ESPN will figure that out.
 
Part of the NCAA sanctions ... I guarantee you we are going to have to pound every team we play, because "they" are going to shoot 10+ more FTs a game from here out. Bottom line ... we ain't winning isht this year. Watch closely and watch the Vegas lines.

No kidding. I particularly like how Miami blasting Duke by 27 in Miami is now a distant memory because Duke beat Miami by 3 at Duke. It's like the media (ESPN) has totally forgotten that Duke is a different team at home.
