We literally had the same record last year as we do this year...They didn’t shaft us last year. We screwed ourselves over.

I hate how the ACC picks it's championship game teams. The conference is too big for everyone to play head to head, so in the event of teams with the same conference record, the #1 tiebreaker should be national rank. The current criteria is ludicrous. A team with 5 losses shouldn't be in the championship game unless every remaining team in the conference has 5 losses or more.Duke is in the Conference Championship game. Duke, with 5 losses and same # of losses as Miami in conference. #12 in the country Miami. Miami that beat Notre Dame.
So maybe there is a flaw there more with the ACC than Miami.
I'd rather we just get better. I'm past missing competing for a national championship every year, but I still miss not losing to lesser teams and programs that have no business being better than ours.If we could just schedule our ACC loss each year to be a non-ACC game, or y'know just play the bottom 7 teams in the Conference that'd be lovely.
Texas would likely have guys sitting or transferring too.Anyone going pro will opt out of the Bowl game.
QB is the most important position on the field. Ours will opt out likely, Arch has no where to go.Texas would likely have guys sitting or transferring too.
Well we lost to the refs rather than SMU.I'd rather we just get better. I'm past missing competing for a national championship every year, but I still miss not losing to lesser teams and programs that have no business being better than ours.
SMU isn't even the #3 program in the state of Texas. Losing to them is bull****. Losing to Louisville (again) is bull****. We have to stop losing games like that.
Okay I sort of agree but this might actually be worse than 2023 FSU and that’s me being 100% unbiased. While they got royally ****ed at least the CFP made a valid point. Travis was hurt and they a case could be made for them not being top 4. But the situation we’re in is just ludacris. Most of the ESECPN butt pirates were on board with leaving FSU out. That has not been the case today. ALL of them say we deserve to be in. Even pundits who typically don’t talk highly of us.However tomorrow goes, we need to handle the worst case scenario as best as possible. FSU still hasn’t recovered from 2023. The program imploded, attacking Herbstreet, threatening to sue, norvells extension, bowl game, etc…
Move past, let it fuel us for next year. Leave nothing in the hands of Arkansas’s AD
The other difference is this is for top 12, not top 4. We also didnt win our conference. That was definitely way worse then them leaving us out. We and the teams that played today did all they could to help us. Thank you TT and GA. It is in the imbeciles' hands now.Okay I sort of agree but this might actually be worse than 2023 FSU and that’s me being 100% unbiased. With that being said I don’t think we should just sit back and take it. None of the ACC schools should be happy. If Duke wins and they’re left out, how does the conference feel about having 3 head to head wins over the entire CFP field and not having its own representation? Every school should be fuming.
Winning your conference means Jack **** when 7-5 Duke is playing for one and there’s 18 teams or whatever the **** who don’t even play each other. The other difference is this is for top 12, not top 4. It’s also a little ridiculous that this is what it has came down to. You can’t simply trade yards for clock and have to try an run up the score. The best case scenario is UM makes it in. The worst case is UM gets ****ed and Cristobal (hopefully) abandons his conservative style of play and acknowledges going for the jugular matters.
Regardless, for all of his faults, and there are many, this team did not fold following the SMU loss. The recruiting class is comprised of blue-chip players, including many whom consider the best player in the nation in Cantwell. That was a statement signing. The FSU "snub" (lol) is not an apples-to-apples comparison. Norvell rode the wave of a great player in Jordan Travis, but didn't build a roster. Cristobal's high school recruiting and portal takes have been superior. This program won't stoop down to that level.

***** bowl games. Lawyer up, because if the CFP Committee gets away with it this year, it will just keep getting more arbitrary until they are held accountable.
Texas has the ability to do that with the funding and whatnot. We don't have that luxury. We have to be twice as good as any teamTexas would likely have guys sitting or transferring too.
The reason I have hope that they will change their mind in the end is because it’s like 90%(Miami) to 10%(Notre Dame) of media and people around the country saying we should be in. The pressure on them will be so immense they’re going to switch. You could see the momentum changing about a week ago. That's true and there's a chance we move above them, but the voters would have to change their minds from the last time they voted. I'm not holding my breath.
