We've fired or basically forced to retire four coaches in 13 years. What are you talking about. We can write a book about firing them. We've been doing it more than anyone out there.

Firing and doing a search worth a fck is not easy. Tell me when we did a good search on a coach and they turned out to be good? They haven’t that’s the point here. We will lazy hire the fck out of coach.

Yes we have but we’ve also written the book on firing a coach right after a big extension which has cost us a ton of money that could have been better spent being put to hiring a real coach and staff that would require more money. So what everyone is saying is, yes we all know Diaz will eventually be fired, their is no recoving from the program defining/record breaking “in a bad way” performances he’s put forth in just two years. Smh We’re just saying no extensions so we have more money to hopefully, finally hire a proven coach as our next coach Go Canes.

It's not about the extension, it's about THE BUYOUT. Blake can give Manny a lifetime contract, but if the buyout terms are manageable, then it doesn't matter. Years on a contract are optics, nothing more. If you have a coach with 4 years or less on a contract, and you aren't dealing with it, it's a negative in recruiting.
