I support Miami; therefore, I want VT to beat Al Golden. Season is done. I am done with this staff. Fire Folden!
Those who support the banner are akin to the Anti-**** Germans during WWII. They want Hitler to lose to get Germany back on the right track.
So those who support Golden are *****.
We want Al gone, by any means necessary.
I moved to virginia and have to live near these peckerwoods. I'd rather we lose today, than continue to get trounced annually by a second rate school like VT. Also, in the best years, VT are second tier and they OWN us over the last 20 years. Its a **** disgrace.

I keep seeing everywhere on this board people who are "die hard fans" picking the canes to get blown out tonight. While it's not out of the realm of possibility (nothing is with this team), a lot of things are in the Canes favor to win tonight or at least keep it close. Weather isn't terrible for this time of year with temperatures in the high 40's with clear skies and almost no wind, Luther Maddy and Chase Williams are out so Duke and Yearby should have their way and VT isn't a GT or Nebraska that runs 90% of the time so our defense shouldn't be AS bad. Even every ESPN analyst picked us to win tonight.
The coaching staff, especially on defense, has looked inept and I don't trust them to stop anyone, but the level of doubt and pessimism on this board is beyond belief. My question is: are you fans deliberately rooting for the 'Canes to lose big tonight? For either an "I told you so" moment or just so Al getting fired becomes a reality?
The program is nowhere near where it needs to be and can't seem to get serious momentum going in the right direction, but why direct all the passion towards negativity instead of winning? I love that fans care enough to demand change, but that is different than deliberately rooting for your team to lose, especially in college where players decide where they want to go. A dominant offensive performance on national TV could help sway some South Florida natives to UM over UF.
