Do Away With TO/TD Chains

Hey, maybe Manny can buy himself a BeJeweler and put fancy crystals on the helmets after every half decent play. Nothing says "I'm tough, but in touch with my feminine side" like a BeJeweled helmet.

Disagree, you’re letting your anger and disappointment get in the way. But, people (not you) don’t recognize how crazy those 80’s canes were. Even if they were down to a team they would have danced, cheap shotted and talked **** to a win. They were uncontrollable!
Stop it....Webster played late 90s.....Those Stupid F-ing Chains and F *** Knuckles would be NOWHERE to be seen back then....Ask @dsddcane if Webster wouldn't have Busted you upside the F-ing head if he caught your *** Dancing like a Fool to Soulja Boy because your *** recovered a fumble in a 17-12 game against a HS team...You can't tell me something I know....

What those 80s teams did was intimidate people. What THESE Canes do is completely different. They dance before they do a **** thing. The 80s Canes would dance AFTER knocking your head off.

I dont have an issue with the chain (the touchdown ring I think is lame). I was there in the 80's and to be honest the most Miami thing of all is winning. We talk about those teams because they won. Not saying get rid of the chain but it doesnt look great when we arent winning. The winning fueled the "swag". Now, we seem to think it was the other way around.

The first one was the best one. That being said it's time to retire the chain.

None of them were cool. Sorry but they were lame fake thug gimmicks that excited the 20 year old preppy kids with fake forced “swagger”. There is nothing cool about pretending you are Tony Montana while losing by 50 to Clemson. it’s pathetic.

The Fiesta Bowl “fatigues” was BEFORE the game and was much more hated AND RIDICULED after the loss than the TO chain? No NFL first rounders on that team <sarcasm>?

yall just want to punish wantonly; the losses have nothing to do with the chain or even social media.
And how the **** did that turn out? Same with the Louisville logo stomping. Pre-game bravado doesn't work. You know the bravado I am talking about that the 80s Canes showed. 1988 pre game versus FSU. No talk. Pre game Cotton Bowl. No talk. Pre game versus Klingler's Houston. No talk. Want me to keep going?

No, you stop it. No one is fighting with you. You’re not the only one ****ed and Jerome Brown was in the 80’s... And, you’re not the only one who “knows”; even though you’re one of the only who consistently name drops. Old school Canes would’ve loved the TO chain; that’s like saying that they would’ve never danced. THEY DID DANCE! Or that they would never talk ****. THEY DID TALK ****. And those teams of the 90’s, and 80’s, had some scares with teams they should have destroyed...and they still talked ****.

Turnover Chain is one of the few things Diaz got right and that had the influence of Wilfork and Rumph - that’s forgotten.

The turnover chain is a fabricated fake thug make believe thing. Says a lot about you thatyou are so attached to it. Real gangsters don’t need to play dress up During a game.

No I'm 100% correct....This Jewelry Garbage would not be seen on UM sidelines from 95-2000....That I can guarantee you...your more than Welcome to ask someone who played during that time, who post's here....I can promise you he'll agree,... but Pfftt...What do we know??....
It seemed cool for one year, because we jumped out to a 10-0 start, and crushed Notre Dame. We should have retired it after the season, instead of letting it snowball into the BS we see today. We are going full steam into Idiocracy, thanks to Manny "Dance Party" Diaz.

And I agree with you 100%. No way in **** we see that crap under Butch Davis.

95-2000 is the not the sum total of Miami Hurricanes history and narrowing the goal posts to that scenario surely wouldnot fit Jerome through. Unless there’s another Jerome you’re talking about?

Miami’s history runs from the Fatigues through the Cotton Bowl straight to the Turnover Chain. The problem ain’t the chain it’s the coaches.
We know it's the coaches...thats not the subject we're talking about...And I promise you...I need no History lessons about UM FB and Jerome....I was lucky enough to kick it with him in 86 when Chuck was a GA at UM....No way in F-ing **** would Jerome go for MFers prancing around with Stupid *** Jewelry while getting beat by a substandard team....Only a Fool would remotely believe that...

Need to go full Shannon and take their names off their backs as well.

Until you win, you don't deserve it.
