Hey, maybe Manny can buy himself a BeJeweler and put fancy crystals on the helmets after every half decent play. Nothing says "I'm tough, but in touch with my feminine side" like a BeJeweled helmet.

What those 80s teams did was intimidate people. What THESE Canes do is completely different. They dance before they do a **** thing. The 80s Canes would dance AFTER knocking your head off.
 
I dont have an issue with the chain (the touchdown ring I think is lame). I was there in the 80's and to be honest the most Miami thing of all is winning. We talk about those teams because they won. Not saying get rid of the chain but it doesnt look great when we arent winning. The winning fueled the "swag". Now, we seem to think it was the other way around.

And how the **** did that turn out? Same with the Louisville logo stomping. Pre-game bravado doesn't work. You know the bravado I am talking about that the 80s Canes showed. 1988 pre game versus FSU. No talk. Pre game Cotton Bowl. No talk. Pre game versus Klingler's Houston. No talk. Want me to keep going?

It seemed cool for one year, because we jumped out to a 10-0 start, and crushed Notre Dame. We should have retired it after the season, instead of letting it snowball into the BS we see today. We are going full steam into Idiocracy, thanks to Manny "Dance Party" Diaz.

And I agree with you 100%. No way in **** we see that crap under Butch Davis.

We know it's the coaches...thats not the subject we're talking about...And I promise you...I need no History lessons about UM FB and Jerome....I was lucky enough to kick it with him in 86 when Chuck was a GA at UM....No way in F-ing **** would Jerome go for MFers prancing around with Stupid *** Jewelry while getting beat by a substandard team....Only a Fool would remotely believe that...
