Do any of these National "experts" actually do any research?

Clown on cbssports.com says Martell and freaking Perry are "co-favorites" to win the job and Jarren has an "uphill" battle. WTF?

Perry is the incumbent and Martell has been hyped as the next Johnny Manziel by pundits and fans alike. Despite the stinkiness of Rosier last season,Williams was still 3rd (or maybe even 4th, behind Weldon) on the depth chart. Then he whined and agitated for a transfer. A few weeks into practice he throws the prettiest ball, but he also was the most accurate last year too. It's a fair assessment to say Williams is considered the #3 option on the roster.

There's 130 something FCS teams. Miami isn't even considered a top 25 team right now. I don't expect the national media to have a good eye on our spring quarterback situation.

Example of the intelligence and knowledge of some our esteemed posters. Op spells RESEARCH incorrectly. Another posters who replied to subject said the Canes are one of 130 FCS teams. Subject matter and posts during this off season continues to be less than aweinspiring.

Almost 5 long months until the first game. I am hoping that the content will improve and some pertinent facts and information will be forthcoming. Where are the “INSIDERS”?

Why are you sticking up for the media? If you follow current events you should know that the media is often clueless about reality and often report their own biases as though it's factual and news. I used to deal sometimes with media in a non-sports context and could see how limited the media's grasp was on reality.

Getting back to sports, I had a very frank talk with a sports journalist at USA Today in about '89 and he essentially admitted they tinker with their All-American team to give it a national appeal. He said to me, "If we picked the truly best 22 or 44 or whatever it would be largely composed of players from three states and readers from the rest of the country would not be interested."

I'll let you guess which three states.

It was around that time, late '80's, that Corey Booker was named a USA today A-A from New Jersey.

I rest my case.
