Outside of chad and mcintosh no one else showed up on the dline. No pressure or penetrating plays other than those 2...

Average 3.8 sacks, 9 tfls
Today 1 sack, 5 tfls
they shouldn’t get a pass either

17 points and they had pretty good field position each time they got the ball

OP is right. There was no push from our front four, our blitzes didn't get though and we were held a zillion times with no calls....again

Think that's a lil skewed had them sacked and tackled for loss for a couple of plays but they fell forward for a 1 or 2 yard gain

I didn’t see the push that they usually have. Idk but this defintiely wasn’t a good game for our dline

D played good enough to win.....case closed

It was still a disappointing performance against a true freshman QB. When you're considered a great defense, you don't give up a late TD when you desperately need a stop.

So they didn't dominate. But they didn't get dominated or were the reason we took the L today as you seem to be suggesting.

Just saying they didn’t show up. If you have the ability to dominate the #1 oline in the country where was that vs pitt facing a true freshman qb? Just expected more that’s all

It wasn't a great game for the entire team. Some played/coached worse than others, but they lost as a team.

I hope the players are not blaming each other and take the role that they all could've done more.

DL played good enough to win, they were being held every play. Their last score with the QB bootleg on 4th is on the coaches. Unfreaking real.

Yep, hardly any of them won their 1v1 battles. I know they were gassed the 2nd half but they had zero push

They were not defeating their 1 on 1 blocks, and wasn’t generating any pass rush at all really

The Dline not dominating a team giving up nearly 3 sacks a game is largely why the defense struggled. There is limited talent at DB and the LB's are vulnerable in pass coverage.

Still not understanding why 7 is considered an early entry threat.

4? Jaquan Johnson? It’s ok to say his name if you can’t remember his number
