Defensive ends setting and containing the edge is basic. Failing at this tells me the DL can’t play straight up football, and the DC has to try and create plays schematically rather than fundamentally. Miami doesn’t have any space eating run stuffing defensive tackles. At least experienced. Justin Scott may have a lot of potential but he’s a true freshman and DT is one position where it’s difficult to contribute early. Moten was playing okay today until he got kicked out.
