1. Evaluating DL options​

Miami has been carefully evaluating defensive line options during the spring contact period. The Hurricanes are doing their due diligence with in-person visits before going all in on prospects in the trenches. It was another busy week for Miami defensive tackles coach Damione Lewis, who hit the road and saw Birmingham (Ala.) Ramsay prospect Karlos May. The Top 100 defensive tackle notched a Miami offer in February. We haven’t seen much movement since then, but that could certainly change. Right now, the 6-foot-2, 330-pounder has official visits scheduled with Florida State, Georgia, Auburn and Ohio State. It will be interesting to see if Miami can bump one of those schools out.
