Has anyone visited Norman? I have. A kid that once was an Okie but is now living in FL attending IMG has been there, done that. I'd be more worried about other playoff contending programs.

Man come on Miami campus more than anything every week and still end up elsewhere. They may be banking on old feelings.

He may have been all Oklahoma, but moving to FL, going to IMG, having his teammates go to UM, the hiring of Jason Taylor, the visits to Coral Gables, Mario being Mario... there is reason to believe there could be movement. A long time still until signing day.

I think the comment about his mother not letting him commit to OU earlier is big. He's bringing his family this weekend and it was said that his mother's opinion is important. I wonder if OU is just comfortable because his sister is enrolled there.

It's possible all the visits are about driving up his value. But why bring the family? I think letting Mario and Coach Joe loose on his mom can only be positive for Miami....

@grover I hear you man. I live here in OKC and although I like it somewhat, I'd be willing to move out of here pretty quick to play ball in a much nicer area that has more to offer. Norman sucks and the weather sucks. Scenery isn't bad, but it's the same at most other big colleges, if not better.

If a kid is willing to go across the country or play in a different state for HS ball, you should expect many would be willing to do so for college ball.

Oklahoma kids are usually pretty loyal to Oklahoma, they normally stick to OK, OK ST, TAMU & UT.

BUT, this kid is a Superstar recruit & playing IMG opens the door for both Miami & Mich ST.

It’s hard to get read on a recruit of this level, you never really know where they’re going or what they’re doing.

I wouldn’t be shocked if he did commit to Oklahoma or Mich ST, or Miami.

The caveat we have is that Mario is a wildcard relentless recruiter & has had quite a bit fo success with IMG kids.

I like our chances with TA Cunningham, I have no idea where we’re at with Stone.

Believe he outright said that Mario is the best HC recruiter in the country and that we will land a big DL class.
 
The idea that the parents dont want him to go away for college is funny when they sent him across to country for high school. Those OU visits probably added up because his sisters goes there and they are taking it as he in love with the place. Plus aint squat to do in Oklahoma, like anywhere.
