Interviews , gloves a kid is wearing or the hand gesture they throw up on Friday night means absolutely nothing . Don’t even try to decipher off that.
I can’t tell if this is good or bad bc Stone has been all over the place with this **** 😂

It’s not good or bad. I’ve been saying for awhile this one has been closer than everyone thought and UM was going all out. I posted years ago interviews , all the hand gestures crap and wrist bands Friday night means nothing. Trying to read a kid off that is silly.

say it louder for everyone bc it becomes unreasonable if he decides to go elsewhere. kids are kids. they do that for likes, follows, etc. theyre having fun.

Write up below is about Keyvon Thibodeaux choosing Oregon.

"The truth? Obviously, the development," Thibodeaux said. "Obviously, everything that came with Oregon. Obviously, the momentum that he had coaching. But the real truth of the matter is that I think when you can take it back to the last in-home visit — I remember it was him and (then-defensive line) coach Joe (Salave'a) and (then-safeties) coach (Keith) Heyward, they're all at my house. And I like to let my mom — my mom is very wise. And most moms are. I wouldn't just give it to her. And she had a great talk with them and with coach Cristobal, and my mom always gets a good feel. One thing she's always good at is calling out BS. She can see it right from the gate.

"So she really felt like she trusted Cristobal with the process and she really felt that he believed in what he was saying. Not necessarily that he was trying to sell her a dream, but that he really believed in, which made her see it and which made her believe it — which also made me believe in it. And honestly, when people ask me, like, if I can go back and if I could do it again, would I have gone somewhere else — and I tell them the same answer, no. I feel like my life was written the way it was purposely. I feel like God really brought — He just aligned it perfectly, and it wouldn't have played out any different."

When Mario landed Thibodeax at Oregon it changed the perception and made them a recruiting force Nationally.

Stone could have the same impact. This kid is THAT important to Miami.

But he's just as important to Oklahoma. Not a state thats producing big time 5 stars every cycle. They can't afford to miss.

Venables and Mario both want and need this one bad.

Totally agree and it’s sad that we lose our homegrown talent that would change the CFB landscape literally. While we’ve seen others choose their home team.

Even if this Saturday does provide an 0/2 Mario still isn't giving up on either just like he hasn't gave up on other kids who verbally committed elsewhere. Absolutely it doesn't make his life easier to have to go that route. But it still is what it is. We are going to flip some kids this cycle (I'd say 3/4) before December. Well be just fine.
Agreed… still early and could definitely play out like Mark Fletcher’s recruitment. Mario didn’t let off the gas with him after he committed elsewhere.

Wiltfong posted an article about Stone. They're almost always fluff pieces. This one seems pretty positive. Especially his mom's quote. She's definitely on board.

I'm usually pretty reserved when it comes to picking what a teenager is going to do. But.. I think we get him.

Miami

Stone's mom said: “I’ll be upfront, there is a lot as far as the school. I’m looking for a college academic wise. His main goal outside of football is to become a doctor. That university alone provided so much opportunities I’ve never seen from a university. For me quality of education, what’s available academic wise I haven’t seen from the other schools. My son wants to be a doctor and they have all the things available to him at the university and the class size, the schools I’ve been traveling too, I’m aware of the larger-scale classes, my daughter goes to OU. I want him to go to college and stay focused on a career both in football and academics. Florida has been a blessing for my family. I say that often. Coming from him, the opportunity given to my family, there’s been growth in that state for my son. I’m grateful for the growth.”

Stone: “It’s everything. My family loves it. It’s that school right now. They’re No. 1 on my board. Being able to be coached by JT (Jason Taylor) it’s legendary. He’s a legendary player. He’s been where I want to be and done what I want to do. Yes big shoes to fill but what not better to learn from the person that’s done what you want to do. Just the way, they’ve been recruiting me hard ever since my first visit. I’ve been in constant communication with them. They’ve been hitting me up every day and it’s been a blast being recruited by them.”

Oklahoma:

Stone's mom: “It’s a good university. I like Todd Bates. My daughter is there. I like OU. The coaches are nice. I like Venables. He is a great man.”

Stone: “It would be like a no-brainer. It would be the easiest pick to make. It would be the simplest choice to come back and continue the Oklahoma legacy. They’ve (Bates and Venables) coached a lot of great players and developed a lot of great players into the league. Those guys are producing at the highest levels. I remember Coach Bates, I was on a visit to OU one time and the Clemson guys (in the NFL) were back there working out at Oklahoma even though they didn’t go there. It showed the relationship he has with his guys is outstanding. For them to come back to a school they didn’t attend shows how much trust and faith they put into that man.”
If these quotes are accurate it seems like Miami all day long but just hard for me to believe it after all the whiffs. Well know soon enough
