That’s what the 80’s Canes did to the 90’s Canes. 90’s Canes to the early 2000 Canes.

Somewhere we lost that big brother/little brother dynamic (Blame Shannon and Golden) and Richt tried to bring it back, but we need guys who breathed ultimate success to go haze the new guys. It makes them feel like they are letting down their brothers, which makes them push harder. We need AJ80 to swing through. We need Shockey to keep coming through. I love this.
 
i ran into dj williams a few months ago outside of a restaurant in the gables and talked for about 20 minutes. he was very friendly and hesitant to say much about richt, who was then the coach, but his hesitancy said a lot. he had a few good stories re the three linebackers

Count me in.

Those guys are busting balls while at the same time holding the young ones accountable to the shield. Those guys set the standard.

Throwing 7-6 in these kids faces actually means something coming from guys that actually upheld the standard themselves.

They won’t laugh at Vilma or DJ. It should sting to them. versus some anonymous wannabe trash talker **** on social media that they’re not going to take seriously.

Hers to hoping our standard bearers continue to throw it in their faces during the off-season.
 
People say kids are kids, but that's bullsht. Even at that age, you hate losing or you don't, and I'm not sure many guys on the team do. I like a lot of these players, but they just seem too comfortable with sucking. Like it's just something that happens and isn't really their fault. Yeah, the offensive coaching was a mess, but at some point you have to own that sht. You are the guys who went out there and lost 6 games.

So have fun on twitter if you want, but you're the dude who's ok with losing almost half the games he plays in.
 
A year or two ago, DJ and Vilma called Pinck fat or something and it led to a minimum 5 page thread of mouth breathers going back and forth on Pinckney's weight and whether the players were kidding or not.

DJ and Vilma got Pinck's number 100%. They always goin' round and round.
I remember Vilma told Pinck he was gonna come to the weight room and punch him in his fat belly if he didn't lean out.

All in good fun, but there's an expectation there coming from DJ for 56 to carry the torch..
 
we need a couple of our legend former olinemen to do the same. these kids need to hate losing more than they love instagram likes
