Stubblefield is from Washington state. That can't hurt.

We do need another TE in this class.

It’s a free offer. No west coast kid is coming here without hand holding, OV, etc. if better options materialize, he’ll go elsewhere..
 
Kid looks like a really good TE. Would be a great consolation prize if no Washington. Strange that he doesn’t have an offer from UW.

this is why i said for everyone to listen to five rings. Ivins explained w some of the 21 commitments, they throw out offers not expecting kids to commit so quick, but they can't turn it down if he does bc they hold it against them and they cant not recruit bc they hold it against them too. you throw the offer out, if they commit accept, and if you get washington you drop the other kid

I agree I think he's solid. Unfortunately last year I remember Ivins saying he felt Crowley was one of the most solid too and then out of nowhere he got an ohio st offer and dropped us like a sack of **** about 30 seconds later it felt like. I know 2 different guys I'm not hating on Mammarelli or saying it's gonna happen but it definitely does even with guys we all think are solid because they're quiet.

We had a coaching change last year (in addition to ending the season on a terrible skid). In those situations you always have defections, usually en masse.
