Mario is NOT and NEVER has been an OC or a DC. Dan Lanning at Oregon has been a DC for several years and is involved with his defense. If his offense plays well or doesn't play well, he doesn't get the blame or the praise. Ryan Day at Ohio State has been an OC and calls his offense. He doesn't get the blame or the praise for his defense.

If you want to to criticize personnel, then fine. He doesn't coach those players. If you blame Mario, then you're basically saying we need superior talent on defense to beat mediocre offenses.
