What kind of prospect is he coming out of High School? Is he as highly regarded as AQM was? Higher? Lower?

What question marks?.... he has the most offers in the country and has good size.... had 2 sacks in the under armour game while not playing his natural position at dtackle... Dj is able to commit to any team in the country that should tell you how good he is
 
He is a plus size freak athlete. He needs to get his technique right but that's what Kool is there for and he is one of the best. In terms of raw athletic ability, size, strength and motor, it doesn't get much better.

I've had a chance to watch DJ live this year...he's the goods. Again, I'm not sure of the kind of competition is in the Sac area, so I wasn't focused on that...I was trying to see his use of his hands, burst off the snap, and hustle. From where I was sitting, I couldn't get a great view of his burst off the ball (snap anticipation), but like I told my boy, he's relentless and ultra aggressive. He made several tackles in the backfield on hustle alone. He was definitely a man amongst boys. He and Garvin will be a better duo than CT and JJ, imo.
 
He's a better prospect than AQM imo. Kid still looks like a baby who hasn't seen a weight room and he's still dominating people with his athleticism and power.
 
Watching him in the UA game he looked so diverse but also doesn't look that close to his full physical potential so even though AQM IMO could've been great this kid may be more impactful then Quan could've been

Both were terrific prospects coming out. The big difference is unlike AQM, the coaches and scheme DJ is walking into should help develop him further as a player and see the production match that.
 
Quan was made for Diaz's system. He and Grace would have had incredible seasons. Quan never really got to maximize his potential playing for the previous staff. DJ is a young boss. I expect he will make his presence felt early.

Quan was a man coming out of hs. DJ is a boy. DJ will be better in the long run though.

What? Aqm was 217 pounds coming out of high school and dj is 240.

Aqm Didn't have much film coming out of high school for whatever reason. On top of that dj is 20 pounds heavier already and a couple inches taller

Quan was never ever productive at Miami except off the field and with his claim to have moves never seen before

Major disappointment
 
seems like a completely different prospect that Quan was. Different position. How he compares to Chad Thomas would be a better comparison. Both showed ability to play inside or outside on the HS level and had more similar frames and skillsets.
