DJ Johnson wasn’t at the UVA Game?

If he leaves now that is pretty poor on his part. I️ would assume he is line to compete with Demetrius Jackson at SDE along with Patchan

Watching smiling and celebrating with his teammates after va tech and Nd would make it surprising, but his tweet and disappearance from the team is more telling. You can think he had a “personal” issue, but you’d be an idiot.

Right cause no one ever has a death in family or sick relative or anything.

Why?

Nobody knows for sure what this is about. It could be he’s unhappy but it could also be something else. Nobody's talking so nobody knows, we’ll find out eventually - one way or another.
 
I question anyone sanity that would want to get off this train right now. (and this is not making any assumption on this particular situation with DJ Johnson)
 
Well. I supposed more will be revealed. But I am sure it has been humbling for him, especially given Jonny Garvins early success. Hope he holds on, he will get more burn soon.

He’s played and played a lot for a true freshman and it’s clear his role will be huge next year. I don’t get it or wouldn’t it, unless he’s just homesick.
 
He just needs a conversation with DJ Williams, who from California himself dealt with same stuff his freshman year st Miami.

maybe he misses his dog...oh, that was DJ Williams...
 
Actually have heard that he's pretty upset about playing time and is indeed possibly looking to transfer. He says he's homesick and a buddy of mine on the team says he may be transferring to Oregon.

DJ should have red shirted. He is not ready. Maybe DJ should have been used at tight end and Patchan should have remained at defensive end. Patchan has a nasty first step.
 
You gotta be a savage to play for the U. Kid can man up or ship out. His call
 
Losing him would suck for next year (we'd have jj, garvin, and djack coming off injury, and das it. Patchan, too, i guess. Djj was set to play a lot.
 
As much as we play freshman. When you don’t blow anyone out it’s hard to give 4th stringers playing time with our depth at DE.
