Richt said he wasn’t at the game for personal reasons but would return tomorrow

Weird timing with the whole "not mad, just disappointed" deleted tweet. Hope it's nothing. We need him locked and loaded next year. Bigtime.
 
Man I just hope it ain't another player being selfish. We losing so much guys on the D-line next year he just has to wait his turn. I can't wait till we're a well oil machine where freshman/sophomores understand they have to wait their turn.
 
LOL at “personal reasons.” DJ is an emotional kid. I hope he gets over this personal reason and comes back into the fold.

Let him play vs Pitt & give him some burn vs Clemson.

Get him more in the fold during Bowl practices & keep engaged as the possible successor to Chad on that Strong Side.

This ain't a time where you just let a kid like that walk, its not like the situation with Mullins, we need DE's & a kid as big & as fast as him has tremendous upside under Kool's tutelage.

It's understandble to be homesick, but don't go letting this kid pack it in, keep him interested.

Some of the scumbags on here will end up looking very foolish if it turns out he has an ill family member.

Yup, he could step right into Major 9’s spot. We are gonna need that run stuffing beast on the line next year and he fits the mold.

If this were happening under previous regimes I would be concerned- however, whatever is going on, I fully believe it will all work out just fine.
 
I believe it was D$ who preached about the importance of letting him play early so that he wouldn't get into his feelings. Looks like that was a good call because a season of riding the bench has him homesick I'm sure.
